Wes Anderson's beloved Moonrise Kingdom was filmed on location across Jamestown and Rhode Island in 2011, and was the inspiration for Amelia Wilson’s participatory installation Look Out and Letters at Godena Farm for the 2022 Biennial: Passages.

Work alongside crochet artist Eileen Travis during Jamestown Historical Society’s Windmill Day at the Historic Windmill. Eileen Travis' The Poppy Field, a site-specific installation is part of the 2022 Biennial: Passages, an outdoor arts experience.

Roll up your sleeves and join 2022 Biennial artists Claudia Ravaschiere and Michael Moss for a family-friendly art-filled afternoon.

$25, $20 JAC Members, for adults


Explore the intersection of art, the written word, and psychology with strategist, mental health clinician, and a former Dean at the US Naval War College, Tom Culora.

September 22, 6 pm - 8 pm
$10 general admission, $8 for JAC Members
From graffiti tags to commissioned work, longtime Detroit resident David Young will lead a discussion on the public art of Detroit and how public art can serve to engender community spirit and cultural inspiration.
