Did you know that the title of one of Wes Anderson’s most loved features, Moonrise Kingdom, comes from the name of the beach at Fort Wetherill State Park, in Jamestown?

Moonrise Kingdom was filmed on location across Jamestown and Rhode Island in 2011, and was the inspiration for Amelia Wilson’s participatory installation Look Out and Letters at Godena Farm for the 2022 Biennial: Passages.

Grab your friends and family for a screening of this summertime must-watch; an artful romance between two intrepid twelve-year-olds that echoes classic children’s adventure stories and teenage dreams of love on the run.
