James Dalessandro and Jason Hasko are Emergent Design, a multidisciplinary design technology company focused on building computational solutions for complex design goals. Working in the fields of product design, architecture, and art, Emergent utilizes algorithmic workflows and digital fabrication techniques to explore and create high-performance, structural, and beautiful designs.

While traditional designers rely on intuition and experience to solve design problems, computational design aims to enhance that process by encoding design decisions using a computer language. Emergent Design uses this method in product design, architecture and art to create high-performance, structural, and beautiful designs.
