Discover creative freedom through printmaking! This camp will introduce students to the exciting world of monotype and monoprint methods of printmaking. This hands-on art form blends the spontaneity of painting with the techniques of printmaking. Campers will experiment with a variety of tools and materials—including plexiglass, stencils, and found objects—to create surprising and expressive prints. The camp emphasizes creativity and fun, offering a relaxed, supportive environment for you to discover your artistic voice through the printmaking process. Campers should bring a water bottle and snack each day.

JAC EDUCATION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Scholarships available! Fill out an application here.

Please see our Unacceptable Behavior Policy below, and thank you for your cooperation.

Please send your campers with a water bottle and snacks. For the safety of fellow campers with allergies, please do not bring nut products to camp.

Please remember to have your camper wear old/non-precious clothing for a fun day of art-making.

If your child needs accommodations, please let us know in advance.

UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR POLICY

If a student’s instructor deems their behavior too disruptive, the student will be removed from camp to sit with a JAC staff at the front desk for a period not exceeding twenty minutes, and parents will be notified that their child has been removed from class. Children who are removed from class more than once in a single day must be sent home with their parents. The student can return to the following class for a “probationary” period lasting the remainder of the session. If no further incidents occur they will be allowed to stay and finish class. If further incidents occur, the student’s parents will be notified to pick up their child and they will not be allowed to return. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
