This hands-on camp is designed to let campers unleash their creativity and explore the world of design using both analog and digital means. Campers will learn to transfer their ideas to digital platforms where they will design for vinyl applications such as t-shirts and stickers, as well as 3D printed objects. Campers should bring a water bottle and snack each day.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

  • A student withdrawing before the start of a class, workshop, or camp, must notify the Jamestown Arts Center of his/her intent to withdraw ten (10) business days or more before the start date to receive the class fee less a 3.5% processing fee.

  • A student withdrawing from a class, workshop, or camp less than ten (10) business days but more than five (5) business days before the start date must notify the Jamestown Arts Center of his/her intent to withdraw to receive the class fee less a 25% processing fee.

  • A student withdrawing from a class, workshop, or camp less than five (5) business days before the start date must notify the Jamestown Arts Center of his/her intent to withdraw and is not entitled to a refund nor will receive a credit (unless an extreme medical issue arises).

  • Due to the fact that classes can quickly reach maximum capacity, online registration does not guarantee a space in a class. If the class you have registered for has reached capacity and can no longer accept any registrations, you will be alerted promptly and a full refund will be issued.

  • We do not offer pro-rates to attend part of a course.

  • The Jamestown Arts Center reserves the right to cancel any course, class, camp or workshop. In the event of cancellation, full refunds will be granted. Classes that are cancelled mid-session will be refunded for any remaining cancelled classes.

  • Classes, workshops or camps postponed because of weather or factors beyond our control will be made up, if possible, at the end of the session. The JAC follows the school cancellation policy of North Kingstown School Department.

UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR POLICY

If a student’s instructor deems their behavior too disruptive, the student will be removed from camp to sit with a JAC staff at the front desk for a period not exceeding twenty minutes, and parents will be notified that their child has been removed from class. Children who are removed from class more than once in a single day must be sent home with their parents. The student can return to the following class for a “probationary” period lasting the remainder of the session. If no further incidents occur they will be allowed to stay and finish class. If further incidents occur, the student’s parents will be notified to pick up their child and they will not be allowed to return. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
