In this 3 hour workshop, you will use your Shibori dyeing with Indigo class skills to custom dye your own shirt, napkins, pillow covers or whatever else you can think of!  Bring a white shirt (tee, button down etc), lightweight pants, vintage napkins/placemats or pillow covers and create your own custom dyed items. You might want to bring just fabric to dye. The fabric must be white 100% cotton or linen or a combination of the two. Limit two shirts, or one pair of lightweight pants and 1 shirt, or 4 napkins & 4 placemats, or two pillow covers or similar weight/sized items per student. Feel free to bring extra items and if time allows, we will try to dye them! Dress in clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dye on.

Cotton scarves and napkins will be on hand for those wishing to purchase. Workshop is limited to only eight students, so sign up early to reserve your space!

Prerequisite: Shibori Dyeing with Indigo

  • The Jamestown Arts Center reserves the right to cancel any course, class, camp or workshop. In the event of cancellation, full refunds will be granted. Classes that are cancelled mid-session will be refunded for any remaining cancelled classes.
