MADDIE MACHADO is the Development and Education Associate at the JAC, where she supports fundraising, educational programming, and community engagement. Since joining JAC in 2018, she has held roles in events and curatorial work before stepping into her current position. Maddie plays a key role in planning and executing JAC’s fundraising campaigns and events, as well as overseeing class registrations, donor relations, sponsorships, and volunteer coordination. She enjoys organizing data and streamlining processes to help JAC run smoothly and efficiently.
With a degree in psychology from the University of Southern Maine and previous experience at the Portland Art Gallery in Maine, Maddie is passionate about making the arts accessible and fostering creative opportunities for all. Outside of JAC, she has a deep interest in art, philosophy, and cognitive science and enjoys exploring the coastal spaces of Rhode Island.
