LUCY PAIVA is the Development and Marketing Director at the JAC, where she oversees fundraising strategies, grant writing, public relations, and communications. Since joining the JAC in 2020, she has played a key role in advancing the organization’s mission through strategic development and storytelling. Prior to her work at JAC, Lucy spent a decade working with nonprofit, educational, and visual arts organizations in Washington, D.C., including the White House Historical Association, the American University Museum, and a private collection. She enjoys applying her strategic approach to creative initiatives. Lucy holds an M.A. in Arts Management and a B.A. in Art History from American University. She lives in Providence with her two children.
