ALEX TSOCANOS is an artist and educator. She brings over 20 years of experience leading and developing educational programs for schools (Pre-K through college) and art institutions around the country including SculptureCenter in Queens, NY, Cranbrook Art Museum in Bloomfield Hills, MI and Root Division in San Francisco, CA. Before taking on the role of JAC's Education Director in 2024, she directed the 2022 JAC Summer Arts Camp and has taught JAC children's summer art classes since then. Tsocanos holds an MFA in Photography and Sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BA in Anthropology Through the Visual Arts from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
