2015 Members’ Show & “Rock Collection”, work by Didi Suydam in the small gallery

Members’ Show 2015 

Showcasing artwork created by the diverse, talented, and numerous artists in our community and beyond.

Prizes awarded. “Best in Show” will be awarded a solo show in the small gallery during Members’ Show 2016.

Gallery hours: Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00am – 2:00pm through December 5

Judges: Lindsey Stapleton, Director/Owner of GRIN gallery and Uli Brahmst, Artist/Curator

All work that meets the requirements will be hung in the show.

All current members of the Jamestown Arts Center may submit one piece. Membership dues will be accepted during registration.

All work must:

  • be original in concept and execution

  • have been completed in the last year

  • be properly prepared for installation

  • be labeled on the back (if possible) with artist’s name, title, medium, price and date

  • not have been shown previously at the Jamestown Arts Center

  • be available for the duration of the show

Work that exceeds 48” in any direction, or weighs more than 50lbs will need special consideration, please call to discuss.

Work may or may not be for sale. The JAC reserves the right to refuse any work it deems unfit for inclusion in a community arts center setting. The JAC will take a 35% commission on work that is sold during the exhibit.

Entry Fee: $15

Membership Fees: $25 Senior/Student – $35 Individual – $50 Family

Drop Off: Friday, November 6, 2:00 – 5:00pm and Saturday, November 7, 10:00am – 2:00pm

Pick up: Sunday, December 6, 12:00 – 4:00pm and Monday, December 7, 10:00am – 2:00pm

You, or your representative, must be able to drop off and pick up your artwork during the times above.

During the Member’s Show, the small gallery will feature, Rock Collection, a thematic collection of one-of-a-kind, hand fabricated contemporary jewelry and digital imagery by Didi Suydam (RISD grad ’85), winner of “Best in Show” at the Members’ Show 2014
