Second Home – Alice O’Neill, Colgate Searle and Dan O’Neill

Using neon, video, printmaking and drawing, the three artists explore the possibilities and boundaries of light, space and material. Based on drawings of his childhood home, Daniel O’Neill has created a wall painting combined with layers of video projection that converge, fragment and fade away. Alice O’Neill draws from objects found in the same family home and reworks them, turning them into larger than life trophies of the past. Colgate creates neon pieces. His main focus is the qualities of the medium itself – its limitations and possibilities. Together, the three artists offer a collection of pieces rich with story and light.

Gallery hours, Wednesday through Saturday, 10am – 2pm through October 17, 2014
