Choreographer Ali Kenner Brodsky and dancer Jenna Pollack will rehearse in the JAC galleries in preparation for filming their dance film “tbnu.”  The film is being made by the award winning group of creatives: choreographer Ali Kenner Brodsky, filmmaker Rich Ferri, director Jarret Blinkhorn, with music by MorganEve Swain, and performed by Ali Kenner Brodsky and Jenna Pollack.

Based on the live duet to be “near you.” performed by Kenner Brodsky & Pollack, “tbnu.” is a dance film that pushes the boundaries of time to create a feeling of reconnecting with something, or someone, who is gone. At the same time it seeks to show the interconnectedness of the movement, as well as capture the loneliness and isolation which underscores the duet.
