“JAC Talk” is a regular program hosted by the Jamestown Arts Center to bring together artists, intellectuals, and creative minds of all kinds to share their stories with the Jamestown community and beyond. In this session, Seth Goldenberg, local Jamestown resident and founder of the School for Radical Futures, will discuss Building a Community Fueled by Radical Curiosity. What is Radical Curiosity? Why do we need it to thrive in the future? Seth will share his philosophy and innovation practice of Radical Curiosity and talk about The School for Radical Futures, a new experimental learning community launching in 2021 by Epic Decade. Seth Goldenberg is the Founder & CEO of The Epic Decade, a design, business and, cultural innovation studio that leverages design thinking to catalyze cultural change. Epic Decade been honored to collaborate with leading clients such as Apple, American Express, PepsiCo, GE, Capital One Bank, and the RI Commerce Corporation. Before launching Epic Decade in 2010, Mr. Goldenberg was the VP of Bruce Mau Design Studio and the Executive Director of Massive Change. Prior to leading BMD he was the Founder and Curator of the civic engagement program for the 2008 Democratic National Convention called “Dialog:City” and the Deputy Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, and has worked at the Rhode Island School of Design as the Director of the Center for Public Engagement.
