Curator’s Tour—Book as Muse: Language & Image

Members and supporters of the Jamestown Arts Center and the Newport Art Museum are invited to a special access tour of Book as Muse on Tuesday, August 22 from 10 am-12pm.

This free, unique experience will take you on a journey through the world of book-inspired art, led by co-curators Jeff Foye (JAC) and Danielle Ogden (NAM). 

Engage in conversations with local exhibiting artists Joan Hall, Karin Gielen, Rupert Nesbitt, and Coral Woodbury. Gain insights into their artistic processes, inspirations, and the stories behind their remarkable creations.

This VIP tour offers an intimate setting, allowing you to engage and connect with the co-curators and artists on a personal level. Ask questions, explore artistic concepts, and discover untold narratives that bring these incredible works to life.

This tour is free and open to current members and supporters of either the Jamestown Arts Center and/or the Newport Art Museum.
