Gallery Night with La Méchante et le Connard

La Méchante et le Connard (The Villain and the Jerk) are a Franco-American duo, specializing in fun wedding and event music.  Casey Jayne and Cyril spend the year in Sancerre, France, touring the country for concerts, festivals and events, everything from the Cannes Film Festival to local concerts.  Each summer, they travel to Newport, Rhode Island, Casey's hometown, playing more festivals and concerts, and of course beautiful New England weddings. 

The acoustic duo plays warm and fun music, all with an elegant French touch.  The repertoire is a mix of jazz age standards and popular hits, arranged specifically for the instrumentation.

What is Gallery Night? The JAC participates in Newport Gallery Night, special extended gallery hours on the second Thursday of every month. The JAC's Gallery Night is free and often features informal talks with exhibition curators, exhibiting artists or live performances by guest musicians. Mark your calendar year-round!
