Join Andrew Raftery for a virtual artists’ talk and learn more about this process and inspiration behind the work currently on view in New Impressions.

In his work included in this show, Raftery resurrects 18th century bespoke wallpaper in a series of lush printed Wallpapers and has 6 transfer printed engravings on plates, part of a larger collection of masterfully drawn plates inspired by English Transferware. Raftery is a Professor of Printmaking at RISD and lives in Providence, RI.
